Art in Bloom 2005

On April 29 - May 1, 2005, The Museum of Art and Archaeology held its first Art in Bloom. The event included eight florists from the mid-Missouri area who selected fourteen different works of art from the Museum's collections that inspired their floral designs. Throughout the three-day event over 400 visitors viewed the floral creations and voted for the People's Choice Awards in four categories: Best in Show, Best Creative Design, Best Conveyed the Inspiration of the Artwork, and Best Use of Color and Variety of Flowers.
