Art in Bloom 2006 illustration

On March 17 - 19, 2006, The Museum of Art and Archaeology held its second Art in Bloom. The event included floral designers from mid-Missouri-area florists who selected 20 different works of art from the Museum's collections and Dressing the Part: Art and Fashion in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries special exhibition that inspired their floral designs. Throughout the three-day event over 800 visitors viewed the floral creations and voted for the People's Choice Awards in four categories: Best in Show, Best Creative Design, Best Reflected the Artwork, and Best Use of Color and Variety of Flowers.
