On March 16 - 18, 2007, The Museum of Art and Archaeology held its annual Art in Bloom. The event included floral designers from mid-Missouri-area florists who selected 15 different works of art from the Museum's collections and Final Farewell: the Culture of Death and the Afterlife special exhibition that inspired their floral designs. Throughout the three-day event over 800 visitors viewed the floral creations and voted for the People's Choice Awards in four categories: Best in Show, Best Creative Design, Best Reflected the Artwork, and Best Use of Color and Variety of Flowers. Enjoy Art in Bloom 2007! |
