Art in Bloom 2008

Art in Bloom 2008 illustration

On March 7 - 9, 2008, The Museum of Art and Archaeology held its annual Art in Bloom. The event included floral designers from Columbia, Fulton, St. Louis and Jefferson City who selected 19 different works of art from the Museum's collections and Before Columbus: Iconography in the Ancient Americas special exhibition that inspired their floral designs. Throughout the three-day event over 820 visitors viewed the floral creations and voted for the People's Choice Awards in four categories: Best in Show, Best Creative Design, Best Reflected the Artwork, and Best Use of Color and Variety of Flowers.
