Access to and use of image files and data on this site are protected. All digital image files and associated texts are the property of The Museum of Art and Archaeology, University of Missouri-Columbia and are made available on this site for non-commercial, personal use only. The Museum of Art and Archaeology specifically retains any rights, including possible copyright, which it may have in the images and texts.

Copying or redistributing these materials in any manner for personal or corporate gain is prohibited. Any public or commercial use of these materials without prior written permission is a violation of federal copyright law and may also violate the rights of third parties.

Images (black-and-white prints, 35mm color slides, or digital image files) of any of the artworks on this site may be obtained for a fee by submitting a request in writing. Please send your inquiry to:

Fees are determined by the type of image format requested. Please allow three to four weeks for the processing of each photographic image order.

If the requested materials are for study, lecture, or personal use, please specify in the letter of request the artist, title, and accession number (number accompanying image) of each artwork, as well as the intended use of each image.

Requests for photographic material for reproduction purposes must specify the artist and title, and accession number (number accompanying image) of each artwork and include a description of the intended use of each image. The intended publication and/or distribution details (author/editor, title of publication, publisher, expected date of publication, estimated print run, price of product, etc.) must also be specified. Each request for permission to reproduce is reviewed by the Museum of Art and Archaeology. Permissions are granted on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a document containing the terms and conditions of the Museum's approval will be provided.

Payment is required before release of all photographic material.
